Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that no one has the right to pick up a gun and start killing people.

Speaking in the provincial assembly, Sarfraz Bugti stated that for the past 30 years, organized propaganda has been carried out against the state. He questioned how terrorism could be linked to deprivation, arguing that acts of violence cannot be justified on the basis of grievances.

He said that terrorists are attempting to break the country by promoting a so-called “Baloch narrative.” Referring to extremist elements, he added that the “Khawarij” have nothing to do with religion and merely misuse its name for their own purposes.

The chief minister further emphasized that no individual has the right to take up arms and engage in bloodshed. He maintained that uneven or unbalanced development cannot be equated with terrorism.
