Islamabad: Pakistan and the United States have agreed to further enhance cooperation against terrorist groups.
According to the Foreign Office, the fourth round of Pakistan-US Counterterrorism Dialogue was held in Washington, where both sides discussed strengthening border security and eliminating networks that facilitate terrorist activities.
The talks were led by the US Coordinator for Counterterrorism and the Special Secretary of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In a joint statement, both countries expressed their commitment to making counterterrorism cooperation more effective and advancing their shared vision of lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
Pakistan and the United States also reaffirmed their resolve to continue joint efforts against militant groups, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), Al-Qaeda, and other terrorist organizations.
