Dadu: Local leaders and workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), responding to the call of the party’s Central Oversight Wing and Oversight Committee, organized a protest rally in Dadu demanding the immediate release of the party’s founding chairman and former Prime Minister, Imran Khan, from jail. A large number of party workers participated in the demonstration.

The rally began from Johi Mor and passed through the city’s major commercial and business areas before culminating in a large protest gathering outside the Dadu Press Club.

During the protest, participants carried banners, pamphlets, and PTI flags while chanting slogans against the government and administration. They also raised religious slogans and expressed strong support for the party’s founding chairman.

Addressing the gathering, PTI leaders stated that all cases registered against Imran Khan were politically motivated, based on revenge, and without merit. They said that justice and the rule of law require his immediate release, arguing that keeping a leader who represents millions of Pakistanis behind bars is against democratic principles and the Constitution.

Speaking to journalists, the leaders further said that the longer Imran Khan remains imprisoned, the greater the public’s sympathy, respect, and support for him will become. They added that the people of Pakistan now understand the reality of the situation and that what they described as false cases cannot continue indefinitely. They expressed confidence that truth and justice would ultimately prevail and that Imran Khan would soon secure legal relief, be released from prison, and return to serve the country once again as Prime Minister.

At the conclusion of the rally, PTI leaders warned that their peaceful protest movement would continue until Imran Khan is released and all cases against him are withdrawn.
