Dadu: A solidarity rally in support of the people of Kashmir was organized by the district administration of Dadu under the directives of the Deputy Commissioner. The rally was led by the Assistant Commissioner Dadu and aimed to express solidarity with the Kashmiri people and highlight concerns regarding the situation in Indian-administered Kashmir.
The rally started from the Deputy Commissioner’s Office and was attended by officers and employees of various government departments, representatives of traders’ associations, social activists, citizens, and a large number of young people.
The participants marched through the main roads of the city and concluded the rally at the Dadu Press Club. During the rally, participants raised slogans in support of the Kashmiri people and expressed their views regarding the Kashmir issue.
Speaking to the media, participants said that the people of Pakistan stand in solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters and support their right to self-determination. They called for an end to what they described as human rights violations and difficulties faced by civilians in Indian-administered Kashmir.
The participants stated that the Kashmiri people should not feel alone and that the issue requires attention from the international community. They urged global institutions to play their role in addressing the dispute in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
The rally concluded outside the Dadu Press Club, where participants paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the Kashmir conflict and offered prayers for peace, security, unity, and the well-being of the people of Kashmir.
