Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has warned that conspirators and anti-state elements will meet their logical end in 2026 and will be made an example, as he expressed strong optimism and confidence in Pakistan’s future while welcoming the new year. He made these remarks during a grand New Year celebration and fireworks display organized at the Governor House on the arrival of the new year.

Addressing the gathering, Governor Tessori extended warm New Year greetings to the entire nation and said that the year 2025 proved to be a landmark year for Pakistan in terms of military strength, diplomatic influence, and economic sovereignty. He emphasized that Pakistan demonstrated resilience and resolve on multiple fronts during the outgoing year, earning respect and attention at the global level.

“Goodbye 2025, welcome 2026,” the governor said, adding that celebrations were taking place across the country to mark the beginning of the new year. He noted that people in different cities celebrated enthusiastically with fireworks, reflecting renewed hope and national confidence.

Governor Sindh stated that 2025 was also the year of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) dominance in Pakistan, which played a crucial role in strengthening economic direction and investor confidence. He termed Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir as the central and defining figure of 2025, acknowledging his leadership and contribution to national stability and security.

According to Governor Tessori, Pakistan remained in the global spotlight throughout 2025 due to its strategic importance, diplomatic engagements, and performance in various sectors. He said that the country’s growing international relevance was a clear indication that Pakistan was moving forward with renewed strength and confidence despite internal and external challenges.

Highlighting achievements in sports, the governor said that the year ended on a particularly joyful note when Pakistan’s young cricket team defeated India, bringing immense happiness to the nation. He described the victory as a priceless gift for the people of Pakistan and said it would be remembered for a lifetime.

“The gift Pakistan gave to the nation by defeating India in 2025 is something the nation will cherish forever,” he remarked, adding that such moments strengthen national unity and pride. He said that victories in sports play an important role in uplifting public morale and promoting a positive image of the country internationally.

Governor Tessori expressed gratitude to the armed forces of Pakistan, stating that the entire nation is thankful for their sacrifices and unwavering commitment to the defense of the country. He said the armed forces stand as a strong shield against threats and conspiracies aimed at undermining national stability.

Looking ahead to the new year, the governor said he prayed that 2026 would bring defeat and humiliation for conspirators and enemies of the state. He asserted that those involved in conspiracies against Pakistan would reach their logical conclusion in 2026 and would become a lesson for others.

“I pray that in 2026, conspirators and anti-state elements will be defeated, and they will become an example,” he said firmly. He added that Pakistan’s institutions and people remain united and vigilant, and no force would be allowed to harm the country’s integrity and sovereignty.

The governor also took the opportunity to thank the people of Karachi and the entire province of Sindh at the conclusion of 2025. He said that public participation in every small and large event at the Governor House encouraged him and strengthened his resolve to serve the people with greater dedication.

“I want to thank the people of Karachi and all of Sindh who participated in every program at the Governor House and boosted my morale,” he said. He acknowledged that the support and trust of the public are essential for effective governance and meaningful public service.

Governor Tessori announced that even larger programs would be organized in 2026, with a stronger focus on public welfare and social services. He assured citizens that the doors of the Governor House would remain open to the public in the new year as well, continuing the tradition of accessibility and engagement with the people.

He said that the Governor House would continue to serve as a center for welfare activities, public interaction, and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of ordinary citizens. According to him, transparency, public service, and inclusivity would remain key priorities in the coming year.

Concluding his address, Governor Sindh expressed hope that 2026 would bring peace, prosperity, and further progress for Pakistan. He urged the nation to remain united, optimistic, and committed to the country’s development, emphasizing that collective effort and national unity are the strongest weapons against challenges and conspiracies.

The New Year event at the Governor House, marked by fireworks and public enthusiasm, symbolized renewed determination and confidence in Pakistan’s future, as leaders and citizens alike looked forward to a year of stability, strength, and national success.
