Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has once again criticized the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and the Sindh government, saying that the promotion of Karachi’s development and transport system is now being used for entertainment in dramas.
Sharing a scene from a private TV drama on social media platform X, Uzma Bukhari said that Karachi’s development and transport projects have now become part of drama entertainment.
In her statement, she sarcastically described a bus journey in Karachi, saying that passengers face difficulties during travel. She said that people and their belongings are affected during the journey, referring to the condition humorously.
Uzma Bukhari added that if there is any work being done, it is only that people are now traveling on buses in Karachi.
Earlier, she had also criticized a statement by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and reacted sarcastically to his remarks regarding the elections in Azad Kashmir.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had described the Azad Kashmir elections as unfair and alleged that they were not transparent, calling them “rigged elections.” He said that despite the situation, the people supported the PPP by helping it win nine seats.
Bilawal further stated that the seats allegedly taken away in Mirpur and Muzaffarabad would be recovered, adding that the PPP has never lost courage, will not step back, and will continue its political struggle.
