Karachi: Gold prices decreased in both global and local markets, while silver prices increased.
According to market reports, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the international bullion market witnessed a decline of 5 dollars per ounce in gold prices, bringing the new global price to 4,055 dollars per ounce.
Following the trend in the international market, local bullion markets also recorded a decrease. On the second trading day of the business week, the price of gold fell by 500 rupees per tola, reaching 427,936 rupees per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by 428 rupees, reaching 366,886 rupees.
In contrast, silver prices increased in local markets. The price of silver rose by 60 rupees per tola, reaching 6,351 rupees per tola, while the price of 10 grams of silver increased by 50 rupees, reaching 5,444 rupees.
