Under the special instructions of SSP Jamshoro Zafar Siddique Chhanga, police operations against drugs and harmful substances are continuing across the district.
Under the supervision of DSP Nooriabad Kaleemullah Soomro, SHO Loni Kot Police Station Ghulam Hussain Solangi, along with a police team, carried out a successful operation during routine patrolling and recovered a large quantity of materials used in the preparation of Mainpuri and Gutka.
According to police officials, the action was taken near United Afridi Petrol Pump on the Karachi-Hyderabad Motorway, where a dumper bearing registration number TKE-511 was stopped and searched.
During the search, police recovered a significant quantity of materials used for preparing Mainpuri and Gutka from the dumper.
Police arrested the suspect, identified as Jibran Khan son of Muhammad Hussain Pathan, a resident of Sohrab Goth, Karachi.
A case No. 26/2026 has been registered against the arrested suspect at Loni Kot Police Station under Section 08 of the Mainpuri and Gutka Control Act, and further investigation is underway.
Jamshoro Police has reiterated its commitment to continue strict and indiscriminate action against individuals involved in the production, transportation, and sale of substances harmful to public health.
