On the directives of Inspector General Pakistan Railways Police Muhammad Wasal Fakhar Sultan, Police Martyrs’ Day was observed on August 4, 2026 with great respect, devotion, and national spirit.

Special ceremonies were organized at the SRP Office, Sukkur Division, as well as at all police stations and railway facilities across the division to pay tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs.

On the occasion, commemorative banners were displayed at all railway police stations, police lines, and railway installations. In the evening, candles were lit in memory of the martyrs. The day began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, Quran completion ceremonies, and prayers for the departed souls of the martyrs.

At 8:00 AM, a one-minute silence was observed across the division to honor the unforgettable sacrifices of police personnel who gave their lives in the line of duty.

Families of martyrs were specially invited to the ceremonies, where they were presented with flowers, sweets, gifts, and financial assistance on behalf of Inspector General Pakistan Railways Police Muhammad Wasal Fakhar Sultan.

Families of martyrs living in remote areas were also visited at their homes, where flowers, sweets, gifts, and financial support were delivered. This gesture reflected the commitment of Pakistan Railways Police that it will never forget its martyrs and their families.
