Hyderabad, August 3, 2026: Site Police conducted successful operations against motorcycle thieves and drug suppliers, arresting four suspects and recovering six stolen motorcycles along with 2.51 kilograms of hashish (charas).
The operations were carried out under the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharejo and SSP Hyderabad Shahzaib Chachar, under the supervision of SDPO Site Sanober Khoso.
According to police, SHO Site Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali Mallohani and his team used technical resources and professional investigative methods to arrest two alleged members of a motorcycle theft gang. The suspects were identified as Gopal and Shehzad Khan.
Police recovered six motorcycles, including vehicles linked to FIR Nos. 111/2026 and 112/2026 registered at Site Police Station under Section 381-A of the Pakistan Penal Code. Authorities said verification of the recovered motorcycles and further investigation are continuing, while additional legal proceedings against the suspects are underway.
In a separate operation based on intelligence, Site Police arrested two alleged drug suppliers identified as Ameer Jan Umrani and Mazhar alias Mozu Brohi.
Police recovered a total of 2.510 kilograms of charas from their possession. According to the police, the suspects were allegedly transporting the narcotics for distribution in Site and surrounding areas, but the supply attempt was foiled through timely action.
A case has been registered against the two suspects under FIR No. 113/2026 and Section 9(1)3(C) of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act. Police said further investigation is in progress to identify other individuals who may be linked to the alleged network.
