Abu Dhabi: Pakistan made a historic debut in the Masters category of the Abu Dhabi World Ju-Jitsu Championship, winning two gold medals and one bronze medal in its first-ever appearance.
Former Asian champion Abu Huraira and Muhammad Ammar secured gold medals for Pakistan in the Masters Duo and Duo Show events, marking a significant achievement for the country’s ju-jitsu team.
In the Under-21 Duo category, Muhammad Yousuf and Muhammad Umar claimed the bronze medal, adding to Pakistan’s impressive medal tally. The pair is also scheduled to represent Pakistan in the Under-21 Duo Show event later in the championship.
Pakistan Ju-Jitsu Federation Chairman Khalil Ahmed Khan congratulated the national athletes on their outstanding performances, praising their dedication and describing the medals as an important milestone for the sport in Pakistan.
