KARACHI: Police in Karachi’s Super Market Police Station carried out a major operation, arresting three suspected drug dealers and recovering a total of 168 grams of crystal meth (Ice) along with cash allegedly obtained from drug sales.
According to police, the operation was conducted under the directives of SSP Central Dr. Imran Khan and senior police officials, under the supervision of SHO Shahbaz Khan.
The arrested suspects were identified as Alamgir, son of Akbar; Naveed, son of Iqbal; and Ali alias Bangali, son of Abdul Qayyum.
Police stated that 54 grams, 56 grams, and 58 grams of Ice were recovered from the three suspects, respectively. Officers also seized cash that they alleged was earned through the sale of narcotics.
An FIR has been registered against the suspects at Super Market Police Station, and further legal proceedings and investigations are underway.
According to police officials, some of the arrested suspects have previous criminal records involving robbery, illegal weapons, and narcotics-related offences.
Investigators are also examining the suspects’ alleged links to a wider drug trafficking network and are attempting to identify other individuals who may be involved.
SHO Shahbaz Khan said that police would continue conducting indiscriminate operations against drug traffickers across District Central and vowed to take strict action against those involved in illegal narcotics activities.
The allegations against the suspects are based on the police statement and remain subject to investigation and judicial proceedings.
