BADIN, Aug. 1, 2026: The 201st Urs of Hazrat Ghaus Alam Khawaja Muhammad Zaman Sani (Quddisa Sirruhu), the third spiritual successor (Sajjada Nashin) of Dargah Aalia Lowari Sharif, was observed with great religious devotion and reverence at the shrine in Lowari Sharif and at various locations across Pakistan.
The main Urs gathering was held at Dargah Aalia Lowari Sharif, where all arrangements were made under the supervision of the shrine’s present Sajjada Nashin, Pir Muhammad Sadiq Qureshi Naqshbandi.
A large number of disciples, devotees, and followers from different parts of the country participated in the religious ceremonies to pay tribute to the renowned Sufi saint.
The Urs proceedings began after the Zuhr prayer with Quran recitation, followed by Tasbeeh and Tahlil. Devotional Qasaid (poetic tributes) in praise of the saint were also presented.
The ceremony concluded with the traditional prayer of Dargah Aalia Lowari Sharif, during which special supplications were offered for peace, prosperity, and stability in Pakistan, as well as for the well-being of the nation and the country’s armed forces.
Besides the central gathering at Lowari Sharif, Urs ceremonies were also organized in several cities and towns across the country, including Islam Club Karachi, Qazi Ahmad, Hyderabad, Sanghar, Larkana, Qambar, Naushahro Feroze, Dadu, Seeta, and Gandakha in Balochistan.
At these gatherings, devotees participated in Quran recitation, remembrance of Allah, religious prayers, and spiritual congregations to commemorate the life, teachings, and services of Hazrat Ghaus Alam Khawaja Muhammad Zaman Sani.
The annual Urs serves as an occasion for followers to renew their spiritual connection with the teachings of the Naqshbandi Sufi tradition, emphasizing faith, peace, unity, and devotion.
Thousands of devotees attended the commemorative events held in different regions, reflecting the enduring influence and spiritual legacy of Hazrat Ghaus Alam Khawaja Muhammad Zaman Sani among his followers throughout Pakistan.
