MUMBAI: Indian film producer Shailendra Singh has shared an anecdote about Bollywood star Salman Khan, revealing that the actor once continued eating biryani while undergoing a platelet-rich plasma (PRP) hair treatment.
According to Indian media, Singh recounted the incident during a recent interview while reflecting on his past experiences with the superstar.
He said that on one occasion he visited Salman Khan’s residence after the actor’s manager, Reshma Shetty, had mentioned concerns about his hair loss. Singh said he had begun gathering information about possible hair restoration treatments before meeting Salman.
Describing the visit, Singh said he was surprised to find Salman eating biryani in his kitchen while facing a mirror.
He noted that Salman had an unusual habit of eating while looking into a mirror, adding that even when guests were seated beside him, he would often converse while watching their reflection.
According to Singh, during the meeting a man entered the room carrying medical equipment, put on gloves, and began administering injections into Salman Khan’s scalp without interrupting the ongoing conversation.
Curious about the procedure, Singh said he asked Salman what was happening.
The actor reportedly replied, “Brother, being a star comes with a price.”
Singh recalled that Salman continued enjoying his meal throughout the treatment without appearing bothered by the injections.
He later learned that the actor was undergoing platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, a cosmetic procedure commonly used to promote hair growth by injecting platelet-rich plasma derived from the patient’s own blood into the scalp.
The producer’s comments have attracted attention on social media, offering fans a glimpse into Salman Khan’s personal routine and his approach to maintaining his appearance while balancing the demands of stardom.
