LARKANA: Police in Larkana have arrested an alleged active criminal and recovered 5,000 grams (5 kilograms) of hashish during an operation carried out within the jurisdiction of Nodero Police Station.
According to a statement issued by the Larkana Police Information Department, the operation was conducted on the Panjodero–Ratodero Link Road, where police intercepted and arrested the suspect.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ahmed Chaudhry (QPM, PSP) identified the arrested suspect as Muhammad Ali alias “Nali Mitho” Kalhoro.
The SSP stated that the suspect was allegedly wanted by police in multiple cases involving murder, armed robbery, theft, and encounters with law enforcement. These allegations are those of the police and have not been tested in court.
Police said they recovered 5 kilograms of hashish from the suspect during the operation and registered the necessary legal case under the relevant laws.
According to SSP Ahmed Chaudhry, investigators are continuing to question the suspect in an effort to gather information about alleged drug dealers, associates, and any wider criminal network that may be connected to the case.
Further legal proceedings and investigation are underway. The police have not yet released additional details regarding the outcome of the interrogation or whether further arrests are expected.
