HYDERABAD: Inspector General of Police (IGP) Sindh Javed Alam Odho attended the passing-out parade of newly trained police recruits at the Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bullo Recruit Training Centre in Hyderabad, where 406 recruits from various districts of Sindh successfully completed their basic police training.
The ceremony was attended by CPLC Chief Zubair Habib, the DIG Training, senior officers from the Special Branch, SSPs of Hyderabad and Tando Muhammad Khan, the Principal of Shahdadpur College, other police officials, social figures, and family members of the graduating recruits.
During the event, the DIG Training and the Principal of the Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bullo Recruit Training Centre highlighted the institution’s history, achievements, and future requirements while presenting an overview of its role in training police personnel.
Addressing the ceremony, IG Sindh Javed Alam Odho congratulated the recruits on successfully completing their training and announced that the Shaheed Abdul Aziz Bullo Recruit Training Centre would be upgraded to the status of a Police Training School.
He also announced the upgradation of the Principal’s post at the institution and said that the DIG Establishment had been directed to complete the necessary administrative formalities for the transition.
The IG Sindh acknowledged the continued support of the Government of Sindh for the police force and said that strengthening training institutions was essential for improving the professional capacity and effectiveness of Sindh Police.
The passing-out parade marked the successful completion of basic police training for the new recruits, who are expected to join the force and serve in various districts across the province.
