Hyderabad A woman from Tandojam, identified as Samreen Khaskheli, has appealed to law enforcement authorities for protection and justice after alleging that her ex-husband and in-laws attempted to kill her and her current husband in a targeted gun attack near Sindh Agriculture University, Tandojam.

Speaking to journalists alongside her husband Moazan Khaskheli, Samreen shared her ordeal, claiming that her ex-husband, Juman Khaskheli, subjected her to domestic violence before issuing a verbal divorce and expelling her from their home. “There are witnesses who can confirm the divorce,” she stated, adding that after the separation, she took refuge at her relatives’ home for some time.

Samreen revealed that about one and a half years ago, she entered into a legal marriage with Moazan Khaskheli through the Sakrand Court. However, since then, she and her husband have allegedly faced continuous harassment and life threats from her former husband and his brothers. “My ex-husband Juman Khaskheli, along with his brother Jan and several accomplices, has turned into our enemies,” she lamented.

Describing the most recent and alarming incident, Samreen said that three days ago, she and her husband were traveling from Tandojam to Hyderabad when, near the Agriculture University, they were ambushed by Juman Khaskheli, accompanied by Jabar Khaskheli, Toto Khaskheli, Shabbir Khaskheli, and two unidentified men. “They opened fire on us without warning,” she said. “By sheer luck, we escaped unharmed.”
