Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Arif Habib Centre in Karachi on Wednesday and discussed a range of issues with businessman Arif Habib.
During the visit, Arif Habib briefed the interior minister on the operational infrastructure of his organisation. The two also discussed development projects and other matters of mutual interest.
Mohsin Naqvi appreciated the progress and development achieved by the Arif Habib Group.
Earlier in the day, the interior minister visited Jinnah International Airport in Karachi and reviewed the immigration process at the passenger counters.
Mohsin Naqvi spoke to passengers preparing to travel abroad and asked about the facilities being provided to them at the airport. He also examined the travel documents of several passengers and directed Federal Investigation Agency officials to verify them.
The interior minister expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made by the immigration team. He said the deployment of an additional system at the counters had helped prevent the formation of long queues.
He also praised Jinnah International Airport’s Deputy Director of Immigration, Shehzad Akbar, for making efforts to provide passengers with all possible facilities.
Mohsin Naqvi directed officials to check passengers’ documents thoroughly and prevent those with incomplete documentation from travelling abroad.
