Karachi (15 October 2025) — The Keamari District Police, Karachi, have raided a scrap warehouse in Old Golimar and arrested two suspects involved in buying and selling stolen motorcycle spare parts, officials confirmed on Wednesday.
According to SSP Keamari Captain (R) Faizan Ali, the raid was conducted by Pak Colony Police Station following credible intelligence about a warehouse being used to dismantle and store stolen motorcycles.
Details of the Operation
The operation, carried out under the supervision of SDPO Pak Colony Syed Tabish Ali Shah and led by SHO Pak Colony Inspector Syed Zafar Ali Shah, resulted in the recovery of a truckload of motorcycle engines and various spare parts suspected to be stolen property.
Police successfully arrested two accused, identified as Zahid and Abdul Basir, from the site. However, two other suspects — Arbaz Khan and Noorul Haq — managed to flee during the raid.
Investigation Underway
Authorities stated that cases have been registered against the arrested suspects, and further investigations are ongoing to trace the remaining culprits and identify the broader network involved in motorcycle theft and illegal trade of vehicle parts.
SSP Keamari noted that such targeted operations are part of the police’s continued crackdown on organized theft and black-market trade across Karachi, particularly in areas known for scrap dealing and stolen goods.
