Ahead of the highly anticipated Pakistan–India match in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, Mohsin Naqvi, Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board, met with the national cricket team in Colombo to motivate players and praise their determination and commitment.
During the meeting, held prior to today’s match at the R. Premadasa Stadium, Mohsin Naqvi expressed his best wishes to the squad, highlighting the importance of focus, teamwork, and resilience under pressure. The meeting was attended by Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha, head coach Mike Hesson, team manager Naveed Akram Cheema, as well as all players and coaching staff.
Senior PCB officials, including Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, PSL CEO Salman Naseer, and Media Director Aamir Mir, were also present, demonstrating full administrative support for the team ahead of the marquee clash.
The encounter between Pakistan and India is set to be one of the most eagerly awaited matches of the T20 World Cup, and it is expected that both PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and ICC Chairman Greg Barclay will attend the game to witness the contest firsthand.
