Sukkur IBA University organized a one-day training session on the Sindh Higher Education Commission’s (Sindh HEC) Chartered Inspection and Evaluation Committee (CIEC) Manual and Data Submission Portal. The session brought together vice-chancellors, deans, registrars, and directors from universities across the province.
The event was chaired by Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh, who emphasized the importance of transparency and quality enhancement in higher education. He hailed the online data submission system as a progressive step toward improving academic oversight.
The keynote address was delivered by CIEC Chairman Professor Dr. Surosh Hashmat Lodhi, who highlighted the committee’s efforts to strengthen and modernize the inspection and evaluation system to ensure greater transparency and efficiency.
Other notable speakers included Sindh HEC Director of Quality Assurance Mr. Saleemuddin Shaikh, Dr. Abdul Waheed Usmani from Jinnah Sindh Medical University, and Mr. Sarfaraz Shahani. The session was hosted by Engineer Darya Memon.
In his concluding remarks, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Asif Ahmed Shaikh extended gratitude to the participants and the CIEC team, reaffirming Sukkur IBA University’s commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and transparency in higher education.
