The District Bar Association of Faisalabad on Tuesday announced a complete court boycott for tomorrow (Wednesday), during which lawyers will refrain from appearing before the courts in protest.

According to the District Bar Administration, the strike has been called in response to alleged misconduct by police officials. Lawyers will not participate in court proceedings throughout the day as part of the protest.

The bar stated that the protest is specifically directed against the SHO of Women Police Station over inappropriate behavior. It claimed that several lawyers, including Irfan Ahmed Cheema, Syed Zafar Abbas, Sheikh Zainul Abidin, Qamar Abbas Lodhi, were subjected to misbehavior.

The District Bar Association has demanded the immediate transfer of the SHO of Women Police Station from the district, along with departmental action against the officer.

The bar leadership said the boycott would continue until their demands are addressed and action is taken against the concerned police official.
