Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the management committee of the Hazrat Bari Imam shrine to review arrangements for upcoming Urs celebrations.

According to details, the meeting reviewed arrangements for the Chadar Poshi ceremony scheduled for August 14, as well as the annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Bari Imam which will take place from August 15 to 17.

During the meeting, participants reviewed the arrangements in detail and ensured the best possible facilities for pilgrims attending the Chadar Poshi ceremony and Urs celebrations. Ishaq Dar appreciated the efforts of committee members and officials involved in managing the shrine. He also directed authorities for renovation, maintenance and construction work at the shrine to improve facilities for pilgrims.

To ensure the timely completion of ongoing projects, a sub-committee headed by the Minister for Railways was tasked with monitoring progress and quicken development work. The meeting was attended by the Minister for Railways, the Minister of State for Interior and Narcotics Control, the Secretary Interior and other senior government officials.
