The United States and its allies have issued a joint warning to China over allegations of espionage activities, according to media reports.
An American newspaper report states that the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand have jointly raised concerns regarding China’s alleged intelligence-gathering practices.
The report claims that China is attempting to obtain sensitive information through employment platforms by offering fake job opportunities.
It further alleges that China is targeting individuals using fake profiles and fraudulent job offers in order to collect confidential data.
According to the report, the warning highlights growing concerns among Western allies over cyber and intelligence-related threats linked to China.
