Four seats on the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Council have fallen vacant following the completion of the terms of four council members in Muzaffarabad. 
Shuja Khurshid Rathore, Khawaja Tariq Saeed, Muhammad Younis Mir, and Sardar Abdul Razzaq Khan have stepped down from their positions after completing their five-year terms. 
The four members had taken oath as members of the Kashmir Council on August 23, 2021. 
The Election Commission is expected to announce the schedule for elections to the four vacant seats in the first week of October.

The council is currently awaiting the official schedule for the fresh elections.
