On the directives of SSP District South Mahzor Ali, operations against drug dealers are continuing across District South.
Clifton Police conducted an operation in the Clifton-DHA area and arrested a suspected drug dealer.
The arrested suspect was identified as Haris, son of Mumtaz Hussain.
According to police, the suspect was present in the area allegedly to sell narcotics when police, acting on a tip-off, launched an immediate operation and arrested him.
Police recovered 23 grams of “ice” (crystal methamphetamine) from the suspect’s possession.
A case, FIR No. 379/2026, has been registered against the suspect at Clifton Police Station under Section 9(2)2 of the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) Act, 2024.
Further legal proceedings are underway, and police said the investigation is continuing.
