Khairpur Bureau Report: Jail Superintendent Khairpur, Naib Ali Babhan, stated that the welfare, discipline, and security of prisoners are top priorities. He noted that prisoners are also a part of society, and therefore, they are treated in accordance with the demands of law and human rights during his visit to the jail.

He further stated that the jail administration is taking robust steps to provide prisoners with basic facilities according to the law, ensure a better environment, and implement correctional measures. Under the directives of Provincial Minister for Prisons Ali Hassan Zardari and Inspector General of Prisons Fida Hussain Mastoi, all basic facilities are being provided to the inmates.

Superintendent Naib Ali Babhan added that special attention is being paid to cleanliness, health, food, and security arrangements within the prison. Meanwhile, various positive activities and training programs are also being arranged for the reform of prisoners and to make them productive citizens of society. He made it clear that no form of negligence or violation of the law will be tolerated, and all affairs of the jail will be conducted transparently and in accordance with the law.
