Civil Defence Wardens Sukkur Monthly Meeting Held Under Dr Saeed Awan, Focus on Training, Public Awareness and New Volunteers
SUKKUR: The monthly meeting of the Civil Defence Wardens Service Sukkur was held under the chairmanship of Deputy Chief Warden Dr Saeed Awan. The meeting reviewed the performance and activities of the Civil Defence Wardens Service and discussed plans for upcoming training and public awareness programmes, as well as the inclusion of new wardens in the service.
The participants expressed their commitment to further strengthening and organising the Civil Defence Wardens Service across Sindh in accordance with the vision and special directives of Director Civil Defence Sindh Riyaz Hussain Laghari. It was decided that the scope of training and awareness programmes would be expanded at schools, colleges, universities and community level to promote safety awareness among citizens and encourage young people to join Civil Defence as volunteers.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chief Warden Dr Saeed Awan said that Director Civil Defence Sindh Riyaz Hussain Laghari was playing a highly active, dedicated and sincere role in taking Civil Defence Sindh towards greater effectiveness and recognition. He said that under his leadership and vision, Civil Defence Wardens across Sindh were working tirelessly and positive results were becoming increasingly visible.
Dr Saeed Awan said that Civil Defence was a national service organisation whose primary objectives included creating safety awareness among the public, developing the ability to respond effectively to emergencies and contributing towards building a safer society. He stressed the need to involve
