LAHORE: Photos and videos from the nikah ceremony of Mahnoor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, have surfaced on social media.
The nikah ceremony was held yesterday at Jati Umra and was kept private, with attendance limited to family members and close relatives.
According to reports, the ceremony was attended by PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz, along with other members of the Sharif family and close relatives.
The private nature of the event kept the ceremony away from the public spotlight, while photographs and videos later emerged on social media, giving a glimpse of the family occasion.
The nikah of Mahnoor Safdar and Azaan Jabbar, son of businessman Jabbar Khalid, had previously been reported as a family event.
