ISLAMABAD: Following the abduction of Pakistani nationals by Somali pirates, the government of Somalia has formally assured Pakistan of its full cooperation in securing the safe release and return of the hostages.
According to diplomatic sources, Somali authorities have provided written assurances that they will extend all possible assistance to ensure the recovery of the kidnapped پاکستانی citizens. The matter was raised by Pakistan with the Somali government through official channels, prompting a swift response.
The incident involves more than 10 پاکستانی crew members aboard the vessel Honour 25, which was seized by Somali pirates. Several of the abducted افراد are reportedly from Karachi, adding to the urgency and concern surrounding the case.
Families of the kidnapped افراد are deeply distressed and have appealed to the Pakistani government for immediate intervention. They have urged authorities to take all necessary steps to ensure the safe return of their loved ones.
Officials in Pakistan have stated that diplomatic engagements are ongoing and efforts are being made at multiple levels to resolve the situation as quickly as possible.
