: In Sukkur, Union Council 11 Chairman Abdul Samie Pirzada held a press conference at his office along with residents of the UC, where he strongly rejected all allegations made against him.
On this occasion, Muhammad Ayub Pirzada, Rafiq Khoso, Ali Bux, Hadi Bux Gopang, Mumtaz Mehr, Zameer Ghaniyo, Faheem Abbasi, Sohail Siddiqui, Waqas Ghori, Ashraf Rajput, and Rizwan Pathan were also present.
Chairman Abdul Samie Pirzada stated that councilors Raju Awan, Manthar Memon, Asghar Abbasi, and Yousuf Pathan are attempting to blackmail him by demanding незаконные funds from the UC budget. He claimed that upon his refusal, a negative campaign was launched against him on social media.
He further alleged that these councilors have never met the people of their wards and are only involved in spreading unrest and encroaching on government land.
He added that he meets the public daily, listens to their problems, and tries to resolve them, and that the public itself will judge his performance.
The Chairman said that in the upcoming local government elections, the public will hold these elements accountable through their votes, and he will fight a legal battle against the defamation campaign being run against him.
Muhammad Ayub Pirzada said that the allegations against the Chairman are baseless and that legal action will be taken in this matter.
Rafiq Khoso stated that over the past three years, the UC Chairman has carried out development work including water supply and paving blocks, and has always stood with the public.
Zameer Ghaniyo strongly condemned the campaign against the Chairman, while Ali Bux urged the senior leadership of the Pakistan Peoples Party to take notice of the matter, conduct a transparent investigation, and take strict action against those making false allegations.
Hadi Bux Gopang said that the four councilors have already been rejected by the public and have no political future.
Faheem Abbasi clarified that all members of the neighborhood committee were formed under official documentation with the approval of the Mayor of Sukkur.
