LONDON: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that other provinces should also undertake development and public welfare work on the pattern of Punjab, stressing that visible results can only be achieved through hard work.
Speaking to the media in London, Maryam Nawaz said her government was working around the clock to promote development and improve public welfare in Punjab.
“We have to work hard to serve the people. If we work hard, the results will become visible,” she said.
The chief minister also said that other provinces should undertake similar development initiatives for the benefit of their people.
Addressing reports of differences within the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Maryam Nawaz said there was no division within the party.
“Our party is united and we are all working together,” she said, rejecting reports that the party was facing an internal split or efforts were underway to divide it.
Maryam Nawaz also spoke about her daughter’s graduation, saying she was extremely happy and that the occasion was a moment of great joy for her and her family.
