KARACHI, September 5, 2026: Saddar Police engaged in an armed encounter with suspected motorcycle riders behind the Parking Plaza, resulting in two suspects being injured and arrested.
According to District South Police, officers signaled the suspects to stop, but they allegedly attempted to flee and opened fire at the police party. Police retaliated, injuring and arresting two suspects, while two of their accomplices escaped under the cover of darkness.
The arrested suspects were identified as Shiraz, son of Ashraf, and Faizan alias Shahdo, son of Ramzan.
Police recovered two TT pistols, a .30-bore pistol and a motorcycle from their possession. The fleeing suspects were identified as Mubeen, son of Allah Wasaya, and Rizwan, son of Bostan.
The injured suspects were shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. Further legal proceedings are underway, while efforts continue to arrest the two absconding suspects.
