In the Latifabad area of Hyderabad, on the call of the central leadership of the Qaumi Awami Tehreek, a unique protest demonstration was held today in Hosri by the Latifabad taluka. A large protest rally, consisting of both pedestrians and motorcyclists, was taken out against rising inflation and increasing petrol prices.

The protest was led by Qaumi Awami Tehreek Latifabad Taluka President Babu Solangi, Noor Hassan Jamali, Farhan Rand, and Senior Vice President Jaman Solangi. A large number of workers also participated, along with district Hyderabad leaders including Nazeer Baloch, Mashooq Chandio, Babu Memon, Abbas Pathan, Rawal Sial, Ghulam Mustafa Mallah, Sarwar Mallah, Nasir Mallah, and Khair Muhammad Chandio.

Participants in the protest carried banners and placards with slogans against inflation and the rise in petrol prices.

Addressing the gathering, the leaders said that inflation has made life difficult for the public, while the continuous increase in petrol prices has gone beyond the common man’s ability to bear.

The leaders demanded that the government immediately control inflation and reduce petrol prices; otherwise, they warned that the scope of protests would be expanded across the country.

The protest ended peacefully, and the leaders also announced that a stronger protest movement would be launched in the future.
