Federal Government has notified various appointments, transfers, additional charges, educational leave, compulsory retirement and resignations of officers and in this regard, the Establishment Division has issued notification.
Grade 20 PAS officer Dr Anila Salman has been compulsorily retired after departmental proceedings, with a right to appeal within 30 days.
Social Media Complaints Council Chairman Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi has been appointed Member (Legal) in the Ministry of Information Technology, with an additional charge for three months from August 1, 2026. Grade 18 FIA officer Shahzad Akbar has been granted Fulbright leave to study at Carnegie Mellon University in the US from August 12, 2026 to August 11, 2027.
Sindh Government Information Officer Abdul Qayyum has been appointed Assistant Director at BISP Sindh, while PAS Grade 18 officer Atyab Sultan’s resignation from the Punjab government has been accepted with effect from August 5, 2026.
Farah Khalid, a lecturer in the Higher Education Department of Azad Kashmir, has also been transferred to the Federal Government Educational Institute under the Ministry of Defence, with her posting in Cantonments and Garrisons extended for another year.
