Sukkur : A grand gathering to mark Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ and a Dastar-e-Fazilat ceremony was held with great reverence and devotion at Markaz Anwar-e-Tahira in the SITE Area of Sukkur. The event was organized by Jamaat Islah-ul-Muslimeen, Jamiat Ulama-e-Tahiriyah, and the Ruhani Talaba Jamaat, Sukkur district.
The distinguished guests included Dr. Saeed Awan, Press Secretary of Jamaat Islah-ul-Muslimeen Sindh; Khalifa Maulana Ashraf Jatoi, Assistant President; and Sarfraz Ahmed Khoso, Chairman of Union Council Rahuja.
The ceremony was presided over by Khalifa Mahmood Ali Memon, President of Jamaat Islah-ul-Muslimeen Sukkur District and administrator of Madrasa Anwar-e-Tahira, along with Khalifa Maulana Haseeb Ahmed Rahujo and Khalifa Hafiz Ejaz Ahmed Mangi.
Addressing the gathering, prominent religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Musa Brohi Tahiri said that true success in this world and the Hereafter is impossible without love for the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He said the Holy Quran provides a complete code of life and urged people to follow its teachings to promote peace, love, tolerance and brotherhood in society.
He stressed the need to follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet ﷺ and spread the message of peace and love in the present era. He added that their leader and spiritual guide, Fakhr-e-Insaniyat Sajan Sain, is also continuously working to establish a peaceful, loving and exemplary society.
Renowned Naat reciters Wajid Ali Qasmi and Aziz Ahmed Soomro Tahiri presented beautiful and distinctive naats in praise of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, receiving an enthusiastic response from the participants.
During the ceremony, students who had completed the recitation of the Holy Quran were awarded Dastar-e-Fazilat, while shawls were presented to female students.
A large number of devotees, students and prominent citizens, including Asif Rajput, Sibghatullah Memon and Naseeb Ahmed Rahujo, attended the spiritual and dignified gathering.
The event concluded with a special prayer for the prosperity and security of the country, the Muslim Ummah, and peace and harmony across society.
