The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test player rankings, with several Pakistani players dropping in the batting standings.
Pakistan Test captain Babar Azam has fallen five places to 15th, moving out of the top 10. Sri Lanka’s Kamindu Mendis climbed two places to enter the top 10 at 10th.
England’s Harry Brook remains the world’s No. 1 Test batter, while Australia’s Steve Smith moved up one place to second. England’s Joe Root dropped to third.
Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel made a major jump of 15 places to reach 18th position. Sri Lanka’s Sonal Dinusha moved up to 25th.
Mohammad Rizwan dropped seven places to 33rd, while captain Shan Masood fell three places to 41st. Salman Ali Agha also dropped three places and is now ranked 43rd.
Test Bowling Rankings
Australia’s Mitchell Starc remains the No. 1 Test bowler, while New Zealand’s Matt Henry moved up one place to second.
England’s Ollie Robinson climbed six places to fifth, while Sri Lanka’s Asitha Fernando rose four places to 11th.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas is ranked 15th. England’s Josh Tongue climbed four places to 13th, while Gus Atkinson dropped 10 places to 24th.
