ISLAMABAD: The price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) has been increased by Rs4.33 per kilogram with effect from September 1.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification announcing the revised LPG prices.

According to the notification, the new price of LPG has been fixed at Rs258.65 per kilogram, following the latest increase.

The price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has also gone up by Rs51.17.

Following the revision, the new price of an 11.8kg LPG cylinder has been set at Rs3,052.09.

The increase will add to household fuel costs, particularly for consumers who rely on LPG for cooking and other domestic needs.
