JAMSHORO (District Police): Acting on the special directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jamshoro Zafar Siddique Chhanga, Jamshoro Police continued its crackdown against suspected drug dealers and other criminal elements across the district.
During an operation against drug-peddling elements, Kotri SITE Police arrested a suspected drug dealer and recovered 1,020 grams of hashish (charas) from his possession.
The operation was conducted under the supervision of DSP Kotri Shahnawaz Jokhio and led by SITE Kotri Police Station SHO Inspector Tariq Channa.
According to police, the arrested suspect was identified as Yaseen Rind. Police claimed that 1,020 grams of hashish were recovered from his possession during the operation.
A case has been registered against the arrested suspect under Crime No. 392/2026, under the relevant provisions of the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, and further legal proceedings have been initiated.
SSP Jamshoro Zafar Siddique Chhanga has directed police officers to further intensify operations against drug dealers and criminal elements throughout the district. He instructed the police to ensure that individuals involved in the illegal drug trade are brought within the ambit of the law.
Jamshoro Police stated that action against drug-peddling networks and other criminal elements would continue as part of efforts to maintain law and order and protect citizens from the harmful effects of narcotics.
