Under the patronage of Chairman Town Municipal Corporation (TMC) Manghopir Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, a dignified, transparent and respectful balloting ceremony was held for Christian employees of TMC Manghopir for a pilgrimage to the Holy Mary Shrine in Sheikhupura. A large number of Christian employees of TMC Manghopir, along with office-bearers of the Pakistan Peoples Party Minority Wing, attended the ceremony.

The balloting process was conducted with complete transparency, impartiality and fairness. As a result, the names of 20 fortunate Christian employees were selected for the pilgrimage to the Holy Mary Shrine in Sheikhupura.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, marking the third consecutive year that TMC Manghopir has organized the balloting. The initiative reflects the corporation’s respect for the religious sentiments of its Christian employees and represents an appreciable effort towards promoting religious harmony, mutual respect and employee welfare.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman TMC Manghopir Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi warmly congratulated all 20 employees who were successful in the balloting. He said that Manghopir had always conveyed a message of brotherhood, religious harmony, tolerance and mutual respect.

“Our employees, without distinction, are equally respected by us, and every individual has the complete right to worship and fulfill religious obligations according to their faith,” he said.

Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi said that organizing the balloting for Christian employees for the pilgrimage to the Holy Mary Shrine for the third consecutive year was a practical example of brotherhood, religious harmony and mutual respect.
