BADIN: District Badin Police continued operations against drug sellers and criminals on the directions of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razzaq Dharejo and SSP Badin Qamar Raza Jiskani.
Police recovered 500 litres of locally made liquor, 1,770 gutka packets and three stolen goats, while six suspects were arrested in separate operations.
Police conducted raids on illegal liquor distilleries in Khorwah, Rajo Khanani and Talhar, recovering 150, 240 and 110 litres of liquor respectively. Several suspects were arrested, while some others managed to escape.
In Shahid Fazil Rahu and Tando Ghulam Ali, police arrested alleged gutka sellers and recovered a total of 1,770 gutka packets.
Kadhan Police recovered three stolen goats and also arrested a suspect with 20 litres of locally made liquor.
Meanwhile, Pangrio Police arrested a suspect wanted in a murder case.
Police said further legal action is being taken against the arrested suspects, while efforts are underway to apprehend those who escaped.
