BADIN: Sub-Inspector Gul Hassan Laghari has retired from the police department after completing his service and reaching the age of 60.
SSP Badin Qamar Raza Jiskani hosted a farewell ceremony in his honour at the Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Conference Hall.
The SSP praised Laghari as a brave, hardworking and dedicated officer who played an important role in operations against drug dealers and other criminals. He also contributed to solving complex and blind cases and arresting wanted suspects.
Qamar Raza Jiskani said Laghari’s services would always be remembered and that his professional career would serve as an example for younger police officers.
During the ceremony, senior officers presented him with Sindhi caps, lungis and ajraks as a gesture of appreciation and expressed their best wishes for his retired life.
DSP Badin Shakeel Ahmed Solangi, DSP Complaint Cell Saleem Raza Parhyar and other SSP Office staff also attended the farewell ceremony.
