ISLAMABAD: A five-member delegation from the District Korangi Press Club, led by its founder and president, M.A. Muhammad Rustam Qadri, called on the Deputy Head of Mission / Deputy High Commissioner of the Czech Republic, Mr. Milan Kalco, in Islamabad.During the meeting, the two sides discussed matters of mutual interest, including organizing exchange visits for Pakistani journalists to the Czech Republic and vice versa. They also deliberated on conducting joint seminars and media workshops. Furthermore, the discussion focused on educational opportunities, highlighting how Pakistani youth pursuing higher education in modern technology and advanced fields at Czech universities can return to play a vital role in Pakistan’s progress and development.On this occasion, District Korangi Press Club Founder and President Muhammad Rustam Qadri presented the Czech diplomat with Sindh’s traditional cultural gift, the Ajrak. Executive Member Javed Anjum Masih also presented the traditional Sindhi topi (cap), which the Deputy Head of Mission greatly appreciated and expressed his gratitude for.The meeting was attended by other delegation members, including Executive Member Ghulam Murtaza, Executive Member Rana Muhammad Ahsan, and the press club’s Finance Secretary, Muhammad Hassan bin Rustam Rajput. Later, the Embassy’s Administrative Officer, Mr. Yaqoob, thanked all the delegation members for their visit.
