Tehran: The Iranian Armed Forces has vowed to take decisive action in response to the reported killing of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
In an official statement, the Iranian military described the attack on the nation’s leadership as a “grave act” and promised a strong and decisive response. “The aggressor will be punished under all circumstances,” the statement read, emphasizing that Iran would take every possible measure to defend its sovereignty and security.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) also confirmed its commitment to ensuring that those responsible for the Supreme Leader’s killing face severe, decisive, and regrettable punishment. Officials stressed that they would not allow an opportunity to punish the perpetrators to be missed.
