At least nine people were killed and four children injured in two separate road accidents in Washuk and Panjgur districts of Balochistan, officials said.

The first accident occurred in the Shamsi area of Washuk district, where a vehicle overturned, killing four people and injuring two others.

In a separate accident at Goran on the Panjgur-Turbat highway, two vehicles collided, leaving five people dead, including four women.

Two children were also injured in the Panjgur accident.

The injured were shifted for medical treatment, while authorities began further proceedings into the incidents.
