Khairpur (Report): Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) provincial leader and former MPA Pir Syed Muhammad Bachal Shah Jilani has vowed to continue serving the people of Taluka Kingri and supporting deserving families.

On the directives of Pir Syed Muhammad Bachal Shah Jilani and Pir Syed Hussain Shah Jilani, solar panels, electric fans and sewing machines were distributed among needy families in different areas of Kingri.

A special ceremony was held at Mehr Shah Jilani House in Luqman, Khairpur, where deserving families received the items to help them deal with electricity shortages and improve their household income.

Addressing the gathering, Pir Syed Muhammad Bachal Shah Jilani said that serving people, helping the poor and resolving public problems were among the main objectives of the PPP. He said the party had continued its public welfare mission from Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto to Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and was carrying it forward under PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

He said PPP workers in Taluka Kingri were the party’s strength and had remained loyal during difficult times. He urged workers to maintain close contact with the public, identify their problems and raise their voice for solutions.

Pir Syed Hussain Shah Jilani said the real purpose of politics was to serve the people. He said the relationship between the Jilani family and the people of Kingri was based on love, brotherhood and public service rather than politics alone.

He assured the gathering that every possible effort would be made to provide assistance and facilities to deserving families in the area.

Another ceremony was held at Pir Mehr Shah Jilani House under the supervision of Zawar Moharram Ali Abro. Solar panels, fans and sewing machines were distributed among deserving families.

Zawar Moharram Ali Abro said the initiative was aimed at providing practical support to families facing financial difficulties. He said solar panels and fans would help families affected by electricity shortages, while sewing machines would enable women to earn income through home-based work.

“Our mission is to continue serving the people and ensure that assistance reaches those who genuinely need it,” he said.

A large number of PPP leaders, workers and local residents attended the ceremony. Beneficiaries thanked Pir Syed Muhammad Bachal Shah Jilani, Pir Syed Hussain Shah Jilani and the organizers for supporting deserving families.

The welfare initiative was appreciated by the local community as a positive step toward public service, economic empowerment and assistance to underprivileged families in Kingri.
