Speaking to Geo News, he said the Supreme Court’s decision on Imran Khan’s treatment was historic and the government should fully implement it. He warned that failure to follow the court’s order could amount to contempt of court.

Atif Khan said that when Nawaz Sharif was ill, Imran Khan had allowed him to seek treatment abroad. He added that there was no reason why Imran Khan could not receive treatment in Pakistan.

He further said the September 27 protest call could only be withdrawn on Imran Khan’s instructions and that any decision taken by the PTI founder would be final.
