Sukkur, February 5, 2026: To mark Kashmir Solidarity Day on February 5, the District Administration Sukkur organized a peaceful and grand rally to express full solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir. The rally began at Sukkur Municipal Stadium and culminated at the Sukkur Press Club.
The rally was led by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Sukkur, Ms. Bushra Mansoor, while Assistant Commissioner Sukkur City, Ms. Sarah Faraz, accompanied her. A large number of officers and officials from various government departments including the Education Department, along with political, social and religious leaders, students, teachers, and representatives of civil society, actively participated in the rally. Participants carried Pakistani and Kashmiri flags and raised powerful slogans such as “The struggle for Kashmir’s freedom will continue,” “Free Kashmir,” and “Indian atrocities are unacceptable,” creating an atmosphere charged with unity, determination, and collective resolve.
While addressing the participants, ADC Bushra Mansoor stated that the continued Indian oppression and human rights violations against the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir clearly reflect India’s cowardly and aggressive mindset. She emphasized that the Kashmiri people are resilient and courageous and will never bow down, compromise, or accept defeat, and that their legitimate struggle for freedom will persist under all circumstances.
She further affirmed that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters on every platform and will continue to raise their voice in their support until Kashmir achieves freedom. She added that such rallies and awareness initiatives to express solidarity with Kashmir will also be organized in the future.
ADC Bushra Mansoor called upon the United Nations and the international community to take immediate notice of Indian aggression and gross violations of human rights in occupied Kashmir and to play an effective and meaningful role in ensuring the Kashmiri people’s right to self-determination.
At the conclusion of the rally, tributes were paid to the martyrs of Kashmir, and special prayers were offered for the freedom of Kashmir, as well as for peace and stability in the region.
