Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti met with President Asif Ali Zardari at the President’s Office, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The President was briefed on the overall situation of Balochistan and the ongoing development initiatives in the province.

President Asif Zadri said effective coordination between the federal and provincial governments is essential for peace, development and public welfare in Balochistan. 

President Zardari said Pakistan’s largest province in terms of area deserves special attention and resources.

Attempts by terrorists operating under external patronage to hinder the development of Balochistan will be thwarted at all costs, President Zardari added.

He said the day is not far when terrorism will be eradicated from Balochistan. 

PPP Women’s Wing President Ms. Faryal Talpur and former Balochistan Minister Mir Ali Hassan Zehri were also present in the meeting.
