Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sohail Afridi, has said that he received an invitation from Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif yesterday and that he will present the case of the province’s issues.

Addressing the Khyber Peace Jirga, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that he condemns the incidents of terrorism in Balochistan.

Sohail Afridi stated that in the past, the federal government misappropriated billions of rupees meant for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs). “When I allocated Rs 4 billion, the federal government started leveling corruption allegations against me. We will not give just Rs 4 billion but Rs 100 billion for the affected people.”

He said that he would visit all the tribal districts and seek public opinion before staging a sit-in in Islamabad.

He further said that conspiracies are being hatched to impose governor’s rule and that he may be disqualified through the courts or removed from office.
